"I am a widowed elderly woman ,(81) and three years ago bought a 3 bedroomed small house that had been used for students for the past 17 years which needed a great deal of re furbishing.

Any fresh thinking and design I was able to do with Carl Lamb and met with flexibility and respect for what I wanted. The standard of carpentry was outstanding, all roofing, plumbing , plastering , decorating was excellent. There was no false economy with installations, but I found Carl Lamb had a real awareness and assistance in keeping my costs reasonable.What I found exceptional was that all the workmen, plasterers, plumbers, decorators etc were accustomed to work for Carl Lamb and with each other and not only was their standard of workmanship high, but their relationships with each other was friendly, lighthearted and co operative.

Cleanup was efficient and thorough throughout. There is little doubt that they took their tone from Carl Lamb’s leadership. As I was in the midst of them , sometimes in very primitive conditions I cannot speak highly enough of how I was treated with consideration, respect, courtesy and humour. In the past 3 years I have found no fault with anything that was done.
